Göteborg & Co works on projects that increase the attraction of Gothenburg as a destination in a variety of ways. The following is a selection of our current projects.
Gothenburg 2021 is one of the most important positioning and vision-building projects for the city. Its aim is to draw up a plan for celebrating Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary in 2021. Göteborg & Co manages the project on behalf of the City Executive Board.
This project aims to develop Gothenburg as a leading destination for sustainable conventions and events that involve minimal environmental impact. Göteborg & Co collaborates on this project with the City of Gothenburg and the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.
A project that aims to promote, develop and increase the attraction of Gothenburg and its shopping opportunities, one of the big growth areas in tourism. This project is managed by the Trade & Industry Group at Göteborg & Co, in partnership with property owners, retailers and representatives of various stakeholders in Gothenburg.
15-25 Värdskapet is a volunteer pool of young people and young adults. The purpose is to provide volunteers for major city events and at the same time give young people access to a network of contacts and experience that may be valuable when they seek jobs in the future.
