The City of Gothenburg offers an Environment Diploma to companies and organisations, fulfilling certain criteria, to use in their own marketing. In addition, meetings and events can be environmentally certified based upon the national objectives and policy of the City of Gothenburg.
Göteborg & Co together with its main stakeholders; the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre and the Environment Administration of the City of Gothenburg also run the project Sustainable Gothenburg. The mission of the project is to position Gothenburg as a global leading destination for sustainable meetings and events.
