The Gothenburg movie “Go meet the world in Gothenburg” has proven very popular and will receive several awards in October.
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards will honour the movie in October. As will Tourfilm in Karlsbad, Czech Republic where the Prix President award will be handed out at the Annual International Film Festival of Tourism. The movie is also nominated to the Best tourist movie at the ART&TUR Festival in Porto, Portugal.
During 2011, “Go meet the world in Gothenburg” have won awards at festivals in Berlin, Chicago, Florianopolis and Los Angeles.
The 8 minute destination film shows the beauty and advantages of Gothenburg meaning, amongst other characteristics, the archipelago, the culinary options, culture and entertainments and perhaps most important of all; the people. The inhabitants have the leading roll and a couple of well know faces; Gustavo Dudamel and José Gonzales is featured. Producer is Janolof Fritze.
