Metaltown, Scandinavia’s hardest Festival, is back for the ninth consecutive year June 15th-16th 2012. The first artists are confirmed and tickets will be released on Monday December 12th at 9:00 am.
The festival has developed from being a one-day event with 4,000 visitors in 2004, into a two-day festival invaded by 25,000 metal fans last year. New this summers festival will be a bigger campsite able to accommodate at least 8,000 people.
- Metaltown is a highlighting moment for everybody who love hard rock music. The fact that the festival is held in Gothenburg Рa city with many great metal bands Рfeels not only great fun but also quite natural, says Joakim Albrektson, project manager at G̦teborg & Co.
