The range of events held in Gothenburg is broad and varied. Below is a small selection of forthcoming events in which Göteborg & Co has played a part in one way or another by attracting or establishing the event in Gothenburg.
Gothenburg currently hosts some of the world’s biggest sports events for young people, reckoned in terms of the number of participants. This is thanks to Gothenburg Sports Federation (Göteborgs idrottsförbundet) and several other hard-working sports associations, which for many years have played an active role in organising events. In recent years, popular music festivals have also become an increasingly important part of the range of events.
